Project Overview: Wild Texas Tours Website Redesign

The goal of this project was to unify several different tour companies, each operating under separate brands across Austin and Houston, into one centralized hub under a single new domain. The client wanted to clearly separate their Austin and Houston-based activities, providing users with a streamlined experience for exploring and booking local tours.

The redesign involved merging content from six existing sites (each representing various kayak and pedal barge tours) into a single, cohesive structure. The homepage now routes visitors to either Houston or Austin, where they can browse a curated list of adventures specific to each city.

I translated these goals into a clean, intuitive Figma design, focusing on user-friendly navigation, brand consistency, and scalable content structure, while preserving the essence of each original brand under the new unified site. To enhance usability and quick visual scanning, I introduced a color-coded system—blue for Austin and orange for Houston—used consistently across buttons and key UI elements.

Responsive Design

The design is fully responsive, ensuring a seamless user experience across both desktop and mobile devices. Whether users are booking from a phone or browsing on a larger screen, the layout, navigation, and booking flow adapt smoothly—making it easy to explore and reserve tours on any device.

The site is built with a conversion-focused approach—featuring clear call-to-action buttons, simplified navigation, and user-friendly booking flows. Every element is designed to guide users effortlessly from browsing to booking, reducing friction and encouraging action.
